The need for an updated Plant Systems curriculum was based upon the results of a survey given to agriculture teachers and industry leaders across the state of Missouri. The need for a new curriculum focusing on the state’s plant systems competencies was evident. A core group of specialists in the field of plant systems was created to oversee and participate in the development and implementation of this three-year project.
